How to extinguish a small grease fire!
- Don’t use water. Water can cause the fire to spread.
- Place a metal lid over a small pan fire, then turn off the heat.
- Pour or throw salt or baking soda over the fire to extinguish it.
- When in doubt, use a fire extinguisher.
